MUSA PANELS is committed to protecting the personal data of its customers and employees. It is dedicated to protecting the confidentiality and privacy of the information provided to it and complies with current legislation on Personal Data Protection.
The company’s objective is to ensure the best possible service and provision of services to the individuals who deal with it, while keeping their personal data secure, as outlined below.
As part of this fundamental obligation, the company is committed to protecting and appropriately using the personal data collected with the express permission of the data subjects. We collect personal data exclusively within the scope of fulfilling our purpose and only personal data that is voluntarily provided by the subjects.
The company’s data protection practices are described below, and the data protection policy applied covers all the company’s activities relating to the collection and processing of personal data.
Subjects are requested to review this Privacy and Data Protection Statement to be informed about the type of information collected, as well as how it is stored, used and protected during the course of any contract with subjects and the fulfilment of any other required purpose.
- Collection and use of Personal Data
Personal data is collected with the explicit consent of the subjects, which is given prior to any processing or collection of their personal data. In this consent, clear information is provided to the subjects of the data, in accordance with the provisions of the applicable legislation on Personal Data Protection, that the personal data necessary to achieve the intended purpose will be collected and processed, and they are informed of all recognised rights, which they may exercise. The data collected are as follows:
Identification Data: first and last name, etc. Contact data: postal and e-mail address, telephone number, etc.
It should be noted that the subjects’ personal data are not used for purposes other than those pursued by the company and the subjects, who expressly consent to the collection and processing of their data.
1.2 The legal basis for the use of the Subjects’ Personal Data
The company only collects the personal data necessary to fulfil its customers’ requests, and in the case of employees, it is made clear that we keep a file with their personal data for pay and social security purposes in accordance with current laws. In addition, personal data is received from CVs, which we collect in order to offer jobs in our company, after the subjects, i.e. candidates, explicitly agree to provide the necessary personal information, so that an interview can be conducted and a decision can be made as to whether to proceed with employment.
EU legislation allows our company to process personal data, provided it has the legal basis to do so. Furthermore, it is permitted to inform the subjects of the reasons for this processing. Of course, the legal basis is the prior consent given, and any subsequent contracts and transactions, for which it goes without saying that the disclosure of certain personal information is necessary.
1.3 Where and how Subjects’ Personal Data are collected
Personal data are collected either manually with the direct physical presence of the subjects at the company, by fax or mail to the company, or electronically by e-mail or telephone.
2. Storage time of Subjects’ Personal Data
The company stores your data immediately after collection and keeps it in this form for a limited period of time and only for the agreed purposes. In particular, employee data will be kept for as long as the employment contract is active, while customer data will be kept for as long as necessary and only for the period during which the relevant transactions between the company and the customers take place.
After the expiry of the aforementioned periods, the personal data of subjects will be destroyed and cannot be used for any reason and in any way. Furthermore, we assure you that this data is not transferred to third parties, as access to the files, which include the subjects’ data, is restricted exclusively to authorised persons who have the role of data processors.
3. Rights of Data Subjects and how they can exercise them
Each person, upon explicit authorisation of the processing and collection of his or her personal data and subsequent acceptance of the aforementioned actions, has the following rights:
- Right of access and information regarding the manner and purpose of their processing and storage.
- Right to supplement and/or correct incorrect, inaccurate or incomplete data, so that the file kept is complete and accurate.
- Right to submit a request for restriction of data processing or refusal/objection to any further processing of data.
- Right to the deletion of data (‘right to be forgotten’), provided that the retention period indicated above has elapsed or it is data that the subject does not wish to be processed.
- Right to data portability, i.e. receiving the data in a format that supports its transfer to another Data Controller.
- Right to withdraw consent at any time.
- Finally, the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it) if the subject considers that his/her rights are being violated in any way.
To exercise the aforementioned rights, you can contact our company by sending an e-mail to [email protected].
Our company will take all possible measures to satisfy your request and will respond within a reasonable period of time and, only if this is not possible, will inform you of the necessary extension.
4. Protection of Personal Data of Subjects
Our company takes the appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure an adequate and satisfactory level of security that addresses the risks and provides the best possible protection for the data of the subjects, using the latest technology.
In the context of the use of company computers, specific technologies and procedures are employed to improve the protection of this information against loss or misuse, as well as to protect it against unauthorised access, disclosure, modification or destruction.
